The Times, They Are A Changing

So, now that are new service department is up and running, many of our customers are inquiring about the status of 825 Campbell Ave, the old service department. Karel and George started Import Car Centre in May of 1981. No Dan, no Eddie, no Dale, just one mechanic, Karel, and George. They were located at 926 Merivale Rd. for years. It was a Sunoco gas station back then, and I started pumping gas there part time when I was eleven. A few years later Dan was added to the Sales Department on 878 Merivale and things took off from there. A few years after that, the Service department moved to the 825 Campbell Ave location. Well, after 32 years in business, Karel and George wanted to retire. They sold the building at 825 Campbell Ave and Import has shifted everybody over to 815 Campbell Ave, the new Service department. I will be taking care of the service department for my father, George and we will continue to give you the same great service and hope that our customers will enjoy the change. Check out the picture of Karel and George in 1981 in front of the old Sunoco station at 926 Merivale, awesome.    Marty

Our New Service is Now Open!

We are pleased to announce the opening of our new service department at 815 Campbell Ave. For all of our loyal customers, it is the newer building just north of the old building at 825 Campbell Ave. Karel and George decided to retire so they sold the building at 825 Campbell Ave. and we moved all of our operations over to 815 Campbell Ave.

No big change for our loyal customers, but one big benefit is that we have secured the property just east of our building, so now you can access us from Clyde Ave. If you are coming from the east, now you can turn left onto Clyde Ave from Carling Ave. and instead of going around the block, take a right at our new sign and you have landed. Much easier access. We are trying to get all of our customers to enter from Clyde and there, just find a spot to park your vehicle.

We have been open for a couple of weeks now, and it has been quite an adjustment for all of us. Drop by for a coffee or maybe just to chat. We look forward to seeing you. We are giving out some small tokens of appreciation and we will be starting our exciting contest soon. Details to follow.
