Our New Service is Now Open!

We are pleased to announce the opening of our new service department at 815 Campbell Ave. For all of our loyal customers, it is the newer building just north of the old building at 825 Campbell Ave. Karel and George decided to retire so they sold the building at 825 Campbell Ave. and we moved all of our operations over to 815 Campbell Ave.

No big change for our loyal customers, but one big benefit is that we have secured the property just east of our building, so now you can access us from Clyde Ave. If you are coming from the east, now you can turn left onto Clyde Ave from Carling Ave. and instead of going around the block, take a right at our new sign and you have landed. Much easier access. We are trying to get all of our customers to enter from Clyde and there, just find a spot to park your vehicle.

We have been open for a couple of weeks now, and it has been quite an adjustment for all of us. Drop by for a coffee or maybe just to chat. We look forward to seeing you. We are giving out some small tokens of appreciation and we will be starting our exciting contest soon. Details to follow.

Potholes are the enemy.

With the warm weather, comes the surge of some very awful and destructive potholes. The newer you vehicle is, the wider your rims and tires will be. A many number of vehicles we sell, come with low profile tires and even for winter, you cannot downsize to a rim that will give you more tire height to avoid curbs and pothole damage.

All tire manufacturers has abolished there road hazard warranties and will only warranty a tire is there is a manufacture defect. And trying to prove that there was a manufacturer defect in the tire is very difficult. I have heard that in some cases the city has reimbursed some motorists for the damages incurred from potholes, but I personally think it is rare.

The best thing you can do is, be as alert as you can when driving and hope that you can avoid all potholes.
